Dear Family & Friends,
It seems like one of the hardest things to do in life is to wait. We live in a world where waiting is almost extinct. We want everything in a hurry and everything right now.
From instagram to pre-ordered carry out, we want what we want today. We don’t want to wait until tomorrow or next week, but now.
However, as we may know, waiting develops our character and can increase our faith in God. Furthermore, as we wait upon God, we are reminded that God does hear us and is at work in the world and in our lives.
We read from Micah 7:7 “But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
Let us all then, remind ourselves that even though waiting goes against our very nature, waiting has value, and God does hear and God does answer those who wait.
