Welcome to Ernest Myatt. We are a small Presbyterian congregation where all are invited to worship, grow in faith, and serve together in Christ’s love. We would love to have you join us. “By grace you have been saved through faith…it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8.
What’s Happening
Grace Filled Free Market
May 2; EMPC hosts a “Grace Filled Free Market” in May of each year. Our congregation donates items that they no longer use to be given away. This event is open to the community, and attendees can select needed items at no cost to them. Any items that remain at the end of the market are then donated to the Durham Rescue Mission.

Garner Relay for Life
This year’s event will be on Friday night, April 24. This will be a one-night event only. We plan to sell homemade ice cream. Get your freezers ready!

Recurring Outreach Projects
Garner Area Ministries: Pennies for Hunger
Cash donations for Garner Area Ministries are collected on the last Sunday of each month. If you would like to contribute, please place your donation in the offering plate at the front of the sanctuary.
Garner Area Ministries: Food Drive
On the first Sunday of every month, we host a food drive to support Garner Area Ministries. We ask that you bring your non-perishable food donations in a bag and place them in the bin at the church entrance. The following items are needed: hello
Aversboro Elementary School: Snack Collection
Each Sunday, we collect snacks to benefit children in need at Aversboro Elementary School. The snacks should be non-perishable and individually wrapped to ensure safety and convenience for the students. Below are some suggestions for items to donate:

Worship
Worship Service – 10:30 a.m.
Come and join us for worship each Sunday morning at 10:30 A.M. where we have a unique blend of familiar traditional worship hymns as well as today’s contemporary praise songs.
Our music is led by our gifted music director and a variety of musicians and vocalists that help inspire our congregation and draw us into a wonderful atmosphere of worship.

Covenant Responders Class – meets 9:30 a.m. in Wright Hall

Agape Class – meets 9:00 a.m. via Zoom
Offers weekly Bible study, discussion and prayer in an online setting. Connect with others, grow in faith, and
