Dear Family & Friends,
Human nature dictates that our number one goal in life is to look after number one; meaning ourselves.
For some reason that is often times our primary obligation which often happens at the exclusion of others or even the neglect of others.
This seems to play out in how we spend our time, our efforts and even our resources. However, as people of faith and people of God we are created and called to live a life beyond ourselves and our own interest.
In fact we read from Philippians 2:3-4, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should not only look to your own interest, but also to the interest of others.”
Hence, we are called to consider others and proactively discover new ways to be a blessing to those who share this world in which we live.
As we go through each week and even each day, may we always be seeking out new ways to consider others and bring glory to the God who loves and the God who created us.
