Dear Family & Friends,

As we continue to endure this era of the COVID -19 Pandemic, I know that for the most part, we all see this as a very stressful time and a very difficult time in many different ways.  Our lives in many ways have been changed and even turned upside down. For many it is very difficult to see anything good coming from all of this or redeem anything that is related to it.

However, even though this experience is not one that many would have chosen, I am amazed at the lessons that are being taught and learned through all of this and the ways that we as human beings are growing because of it all.

Furthermore,  I am amazed at how resilient people are and how we continue to press on in the midst of all the uncertainty we face.  I am also impressed with how people are reaching out and finding ways to bless others who are in need.

I am further amazed at the creativity that some are able to muster that give others hope in the midst of this era.

Lastly, I am hopeful for what lies ahead as many take the time to encourage one another by faith and speak to fact that we all may be down for a while, but we are not out.

All of this reminds me of Paul’s words from II Corinthians 4:8-9, which reads,  “We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed!”

In other words, lest us keep moving forward the best we can and keep the faith that has carried us  this far.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor John
