Dear Family & Friends,
We live in a world with unlimited opinions. Everywhere we turn someone is giving us their opinion about how they live their life and how we should live ours.
From the television to twitter we are bombarded with other people’s biases and opinions. It makes it really hard sometimes to know who to believe and what voice to follow.
Thankfully however, God’s thoughts and God’s opinion has been revealed to us in a way that truly serves as a beacon of light in the midst of a world full of fallibility.
In John 17:17, as Jesus is praying to the Father, we read, “Sanctify them by your truth, your word is truth.”
Elsewhere in Psalm 119:105, we also read, “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”
Friends, it seems as though now more than ever we need to know the word of God so that it might guide us and steer us in living the life that God, not everyone else, has for us.
